Early next year, we’re expecting Samsung to unveil its high-end Galaxy S21 series, which will be the cream of the crop in the company’s extensive lineup. If you’re looking for something more in the mid-range, Samsung is also apparently gearing up to introduce the Galaxy A52 5G.
OnLeaks, via Voice, released images of what is claimed to be the Galaxy A52 5G, revealing the device’s design and also a few of its specs. As you can see, the handset doesn’t stray too far from what made the Galaxy A51 a success. In fact, the new design looks nearly identical to what launched earlier this year, which means an Infinity-O display and a similar rear camera setup.

Not that we’re complaining. The Samsung Galaxy A51 struck a nice balance of design, specs, and features, and we’re expecting the same treatment from the Galaxy A52 5G. The device will allegedly measure in at 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4mm, feature a 6.5-inch display and a metal chassis, and plastic materials designed to look and feel like glass. It’s a handsome looking device, and if it’s anything like its predecessor, it’ll feel plenty premium.
OnLeaks says the device will continue to offer a 3.5mm headphone jack, and there will also be a fingerprint sensor embedded in the phone’s display. All in all, the Galaxy A52 5G is expected to retail for $499 when it launches, although we don’t have an exact release date just yet.
From what we can tell, Samsung was quite satisfied with how this year’s Galaxy A51 turned out, and it doesn’t look like the company will stray very far with the Galaxy A52 5G. If you’re waiting for a new mid-range device from Samsung, this one might be the one to wait for. Incidentally, the Galaxy A32 5G also recently leaked, so if you’re waiting for something even more affordable, there appears to be no shortage of options coming soon.
